What this is about?
In this NEA brief I will be assessing and choosing what Brief I would like to choose for my NEA as well as coming with my initial ideas for my project. Throughout this I hope to come to a conclusion of what my plan of action will be to continue further with this project and map out the different decisions I could explore for my final products.

What Brief will I be choosing?
After having read through the NEA Briefs I have chosen to take the Brief 4: Music video and online.
My reasoning for choosing this is because I already have skills in photography, having owned a small photography account on Instagram. I would like to adapt and learn on my skills of photographic imagery by exploring videography. I love to work behind a camera lens for the fact that how images and videos perceived can be altered by the way it is crafted and sculpted by angle, lighting and camera. By exploring my passion for photography and shifting into videography - I hope to be able to represent the dualities between man and nature and how through a childs perspective it can lack wonder. From once nature was beautiful, ever growing and adventurous, to have now become masked with corruption, industrialised and plagued.

Conclusion
In conclusion i will be making a website and music video on the environment and helping to protect/preserve it. This is a protest because humanity is using it as a tool instead of as a part of society. The environment is a part of our lives and how we live, and it is being neglected. I choose to push the point that we must be careful and use our limited power that we have to show that the environment is the foundation of all civilisation and helps to sustain our economies, as well as this it is essential to our health, quality of life and survival. Without the environment, we suffer. The year 2020 has been a very crucial year where we must put the environment first. From littering of facemarks, increasing plastic within the ocean and washing up ashore, forest fires and multiple issues that are continuing from following years such as pollution, deforestation and animals going extinct, if we don’t change what is going on around us, not only will the animals around us suffer, but humanity will too and survival of the fittest will become vital.
